The guidelines to apply to become a PMI registered education provider(REP) are applicable to any institution in the world. PMI in the United States manages the REP registration process. http://www.pmi.org/learning/training-development/reps/become-rep
Once you are registered with PMI, your information will be available on the PMI website, available to all in South Africa who wish to enrol in project management courses. For further enquiries please contact email@example.com
We have Registered Education and Training Providers (shortly called REP's) in Botswana who carries PMI's blessing. Please mail firstname.lastname@example.org for the REP list. Do keep in mind though, that if your trainer is not on the list, it does not mean that your training will be thought of as invalid by PMI. Please contact PMI Head Office in America, as they have access to records that we as the Botswana Chapter do not have: email@example.com
Please note that none of the PMI certifications are accredited with local Qualification Authorities. This is due to it being an internationally recognised certificate and not limited to a specific country.
Please be advised that you would need to contact the NQF/GED in your location to establish the level of the CAPM and PMP as well as the credits applicable to that framework.
